In the war of Humans and Orcs that occurred long ago many Orcish warriors were corrupted by demonic influence and became tools of blackest darkness. One such warrior was the leader of the Half-Tribe of the Bloodied Axe Clan; Mogul Kahn. Mogul was slain by human Paladins but mysteriously was seen fighting alongside the Scourge around the time Mannoroth started to command the Orcs in the war against Archimonde. The Axe has been revived by demons and uses his reflexes and powerful blows to hunt down and seek out the Sentinels' agile warriors and cut them down to size, even projecting his lust for war onto them.
Took 15 hours to complete this work, using Photoshop CS3. This my first venture using a wacom tablet(thanks bro!). Comments and critiques are welcome.
This vector wallpaper was done in Photoshop CS3. The leaves fallen in autumn rise to the music and gradually turn green. This wallpaper was done to spread the message "go green". Took almost 4 hours to finish. Used a Wacom pen tablet for the leaves.
Specifically done for NITTFEST 09. The background went well with the theme. Logos of each department are present on the bottom of the image. My personal favorite is the Mechanical logo.
I used the wallpaper as a background for Nittfest 09 invitation. The guitar glow was made green to incorporate the theme of Nittfest 09. "GO GREEN WITH ENVY".
Lord Murugan takes aim of the Demon Surapadhman, to destroy him once it for all(the event is known as surasamhaaram).

According to the ancient texts, Surapadhman went into deep meditation for years, worshipping Lord Shiva. Then finally Shiva appeared before him and granted him a boon. Surapadhman knowing that shiva was the most powerful of all, took advantage of this and wished that he could only be destroyed by a force more powerful than Shiva himself. His wish was granted. He used his newly acquired power for the evil and created chaos in the human world.
The Devas( demigods) panicked, but could not approach Shiva directly, as Shiva was always in deep penance and anyone who disturbed him was burned to ashes. So they plotted with Kamadeva (god of love and sex), to shoot a flower arrow at Shiva, as he sat in meditation, so as to make him fall in love with Parvati. When Kama aimed his arrow, Shiva opened his third eye and burned Kama to ashes instantly. The sparks of the fiery seed of Shiva were unbearable; even the fire God Agni could not bear them; this fire was then transported by the river Ganga into the Saravana forest into a pond where the sparks became six children. They were raised by the six Kartika - the stars that make up the Pleiades. Parvati combined these six babies into one with six faces, i.e. Shanmukha.
Lord Shanmukha or Murugan, the god of war, the son of the Supreme god, Lord Shiva, was thus born to lead the gods to victory over Tarakasuran, Surapadhman, Singamugasuran and their demon companions. The divine spear, Shakthi Vel, was given to him by his mother Parvathi (Goddess of strength and power),to destroy the evil. The spear symbolizes his purification of human ills.
After killing the demon, His spear cleansed itself in the ocean and returned to him. He makes a peacock and a hen rise from ashes of the demon and uses the peacock as his mount, and hen as his flag(different version say that the demon was transformed into a peacock and a hen). His peacock mount symbolizes his destruction of the ego.
Lord Murugan is more popular in South India compared to other parts of India. He is the god of war and the patron deity of the Tamil land. Like most Hindu deities, He is known by many other names, including Senthil, Saravaṇa, Kārttikeya,Shanmukha , Kumāra ,Guha, Skanda ,Subrahmaṇya, Vēlaṇ and Swaminatha.
Forcefully raised from the dead with little memory of his former self, Pugna is truly a terrible sight to behold. Retaining traces of necromantic magic, this shamble of bones finds sadistic pleasure in temporarily sending his enemies into a tormented dimension and greeting their return with a blast of unholy energy. Those who survived an encounter with the horror often recount with fearful eyes of how the Oblivion literally drains life from his enemies, giving him a brief, but satisfying, taste of the living.
